Animal Protection Agency (APA)
The Animal Protection Agency (APA) is the UK organisation committed to ceasing the trade in wildlife for pets. Perhaps unbelievably, it is still legal in Britain to sell wild animals captured from other countries. The majority of wild-trapped animals die from the stress and disease that is associated with every stage of their harrowing journey. Next to habitat destruction, collection of animals for the pet trade is the main reason for the decline in many species. Attempts to regulate and control the trade have globally failed. The problem is getting worse, and time is running out!

Animal Protection Party
We are a new political party which aims to simultaneously represent the interests of people and non-human animals, a party that isn’t frightened to speak the truth and a party that wants to see real change rather than just be seen to want it. We hope that you will be as excited as we are about the future and will give us your support in our fight for a better system of true equality. Politicians have been allowed to get too comfortable in the cosy world of party politics. All that is about to change.

Animal Rights Action Network

Animals Count
Animals Count is a UK political party for people and animals. We launched in December 2006, and in 2008 and 2009 Animals Count contested elections and received good results. While concern for animals is a mainstream priority, this is poorly reflected in the policies of most UK political parties. Often, animal protection ends up at the bottom of the political agenda, with politicians paying only lip service to animal welfare. Meanwhile, millions of animals continue to suffer in unacceptable conditions.

Exposes the cruelty of digging out foxes and the injuries also inflicted on terriers. They are seeking legislation in the UK and Ireland outlawing the use of terriers to attack animals underground. Terrier work is one of the cruelest so called 'sports' and should be illegal, just like dog fighting, fox hunting and badger baiting have become.

Nurses Movement for Responsible Medicine
NMRM opposes animal experimentation on medical and scientific grounds. They now know that animals do not react in the same way to drugs and other substances as we do, due to differences in their absorption, distribution, metabolism, response to and elimination of drugs. But this is not something you are likely to hear from our country’s media, which has consistently shown itself to be pro-vivisection due the very many vested interests. Animal experimentation has resulted in immense human damage. This has affected people of all ages and continues to affect an unacceptably high percentage of patients.

Rabbit Fur
The killing of rabbits for their fur is the fastest growing part of the global fur trade yet little is known about it. The Coalition to Abolish the Fur Trade (CAFT) have infiltrated and exposed this hideous trade. A trade where millions of rabbits are confined to bare wire cages, kept as breeding machines, their throats slit and their furs turned into boots, hats, gloves and trim for jackets. Travelling across four European countries, infiltrating rabbit farms, slaughterhouses, dressing companies, manufacturers and retailers - CAFT can now expose the reality of the rabbit fur trade.
